The 2019-20 ABCA/Turface Athletics Field Maintenance Award and Scholarships have been awarded to four high schools and a college program. Presented by Turface and the ABCA since 1995, collegiate and high school programs can apply for the awards and scholarships annually.
This year's honorees for the Field Maintenance Award are a trio of Georgia high schools: Jackson High School, Thomas County Central High School and Woodstock High School. The three recipients will receive a plaque recognizing excellence in field maintenance at the 2020 ABCA Convention, plus one ton of Turface MVP and $400 to be spent on maintenance equipment from Turface Athletics.
The recipients of the Field Maintenance Scholarship are Haverford College (Pa.) and Watson Chapel High School (Ark.). These two programs receive three tons of Turface MVP as well as $250 each of the next two years for field maintenance equipment from Turface Athletics.
Each of these schools will be recognized in the clinic hall at the upcoming ABCA Convention on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020.

About the ABCA
The ABCA, founded in 1945, is the primary professional organization for baseball coaches at the amateur level. Its more than 11,000 members represent all 50 states and 25 countries. Since its initial meeting of 27 college baseball coaches in June 1945, Association membership has broadened to include eight divisions: NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA, Pacific Association Division, High School and Youth. The 76th annual ABCA Convention will be held Jan. 2-5, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee.
