The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the official seeds and bracket for the 2013 Avista-NAIA World Series, hosted by Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) from May 24 – 31 at Harris Field in Lewiston, Idaho. The World Series is a double-elimination tournament with the winner being crowned either May 30 or 31, dependent upon if the eventual champion drops one of its earlier round games.
10 teams will have the honor of competing for the 2013 World Series crown. Embry Riddle (FL), Faulkner (AL), Lee (TN), Lewis-Clark State (ID), Missouri Baptist (MO), Northwood (TX), Rogers State (OK), Sterling (KS), The Master's (CA) and York (NE) will all be represented in this years' field. Lewis-Clark State is the only team in this distinguished group that has won a NAIA World Series Crown before. They are joined by four teams who are representing their schools for the first time in the series; Missouri Baptist (MO), Northwood (TX), Sterling (KS) and York (NE). The ABCA would like to wish all 10 teams the best of luck on their journey chasing that championship dream!
