The ABCA convention held in Chicago January 3-6, 2013, was a huge success.  Over 4,500 coaches attended the 3.5 day event.  Thirty-two of the top baseball people in the world presented during the clinic sessions.  Over 300 exhibitors presented their products at the show for the coaches to see and discuss with the exhibitors.

Thursday of the convention was dedicated to committee meetings and each division business meeting.  The divisional chairs presented legislative information and other baseball issues at the meetings.

The ABCA Hall of Fame/Coach of the Year Banquet and the Honors Luncheon, each had record attendance and the ABCA hd the opportunity to honor those who have done so much for the game of baseball.

It is the goal of the ABCA to have each coach leave the convention as a better coach.  That was accomplished again this year.

Next year's convention will be held in Dallas, Texas at the Hilton Anatole January 2-5, 2014.
