2022 ABCA/Rawlings Pacific Association Division All-Region Teams Announced

The 2022 ABCA/Rawlings Pacific Association Division All-Region Teams have been announced in all three regions. The selection process is led by the ABCA Pacific Association Division All-America Committee, which is chaired by Chris Pedretti, President of the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association.

The Pacific Association Division is comprised of junior colleges from the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) and the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC).

All-Region First Team selections are nominated for All-America honors, which will be announced on Tuesday, June 7. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove winners in all divisions will be announced on June 22, and National Pitcher and Position Players of the Year in all divisions will be announced on June 27. 

The ABCA/Rawlings Pacific Association Division All-America and Coach of the Year Committee is chaired by Chris Pedretti, President of the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association. Also on the committee is Northern California representative Larry Quirico, Southern California representative Scott Pickler (Cypress College) and Northwest representative Mark Yoshino (Bellevue College).

The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now includes nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first recognized in 2007.

The ABCA, founded in 1945, is the primary professional organization for baseball coaches at the amateur level. Its over 13,000 members represent all 50 states and 25 countries. Since its initial meeting of 27 college baseball coaches in June 1945, Association membership has broadened to include eight divisions: NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA, Pacific Association Division, High School and Youth.
