The American Baseball Coaches Association announced the 10 recipients of the 2021 ABCA/Driveline Convention Scholarship on Wednesday in the association's weekly member e-newsletter, ABCA Press Box. Each of the scholarship recipients receive a free convention registration covered by Driveline Baseball along with a commemorative Virtual ABCA Convention shirt.
Several hundred applications were submitted by ABCA members from December 7 through the application deadline on December 21. Recipients were then selected by the ABCA and Driveline Baseball. This is the third consecutive year that the ABCA and Driveline have teamed up to grant convention scholarships to member coaches. The program was expanded from eight scholarships to 10 last year.

The ABCA Convention is the World's Largest Baseball Convention. The 2021 Convention is the 77th annual convention and the first-ever fully virtual ABCA Convention due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. Participants can access the Virtual ABCA Convention from anywhere in the world to take part in five days of coaching clinics, the ABCA Trade Show, Q&A sessions, Hot Stove Discussions, networking opportunities and more! The Convention kicks off in just two weeks on Wednesday, January 6 at 6 p.m. Eastern with the Welcome and first clinics. Events will take place January 6-10, 2021 and all registered participants will have access and be able to re-watch the convention clinics on-demand by January 22.
