Participation in the ABCA Convention and the
ABCA Clinics Live Video Stream provides coaches with meaningful professional development and
continuing education opportunities rooted in real-world coaching education.
Each year, thousands of coaches from every level of the game use their ABCA participation to support professional
growth requirements set by their school, district, or governing body. To support that process, the ABCA provides
official documentation verifying attendance and participation in the ABCA Convention clinics and
live-streamed sessions.
What Documentation Is Provided?
Coaches who attend the ABCA Convention in person or participate in the ABCA Clinics Live Video Stream will receive:
- Official attendance & participation verification letter
- Certificate of participation
All documentation will be available in your My ABCA Account under the
Participation tab by February 1 following the Convention.
Important: Acceptance of ABCA documentation for professional development or continuing education
credit is determined by each individual school, district, or governing body.
Why Coaches Use ABCA for Professional Development
“The ABCA Convention has always been about providing coaches with the best possible educational experience. Many coaches, especially at the high school level, have shared how valuable this documentation is in helping them
meet professional development requirements. Our goal is to ensure coaches not only gain practical coaching
knowledge, but also receive recognition for investing in their continued growth.” — Craig Keilitz, ABCA Executive Director
