Kolten Wong, a celebrated veteran of Major League Baseball with over a decade of experience, has left an indelible mark on the sport. Hailing from the picturesque shores of Hilo, Hawaii, Wong's journey through baseball is a testament to hard work, dedication, and a profound love for the game.
Wong played at the University of Hawaii, and was a first round draft pick of the St. Louis Cardinals in 2008. Before making his mark in the big leagues, Wong's journey began in the Minor Leagues. There, he showcased his talent and earned the recognition of being a three-time Minor League All-Star. He also had the honor of making two appearances at the MLB All-Star Futures League Game. Wong's dedication and standout performances culminated in being crowned the St. Louis Cardinals Minor League Player of the Year in 2014. His impressive career has seen him don the jerseys of some of the most iconic franchises in baseball history, including the St. Louis Cardinals, Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners, and now, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Wong's career batting average of .256 and .330 on base percentage underscore his proficiency and consistency at the plate.
