The American Baseball Coaches Association and Driveline Baseball team up annually to grant scholarships that cover registration for the upcoming ABCA Convention and other associated costs for convention attendees. This year, Driveline will be helping six coaches attend the ABCA Convention in Chicago!
ABCA member coaches can now apply for the 2022 ABCA/Driveline Convention Scholarship! Applications will be accepted from Monday, October 4th through Sunday, October 17th. The scholarship recipients will then be announced in the ABCA Press Box e-newsletter, which is mailed to members weekly, on Wednesday, October 20th.
The 2022 Convention Scholarship application is open to all ABCA members. If you are not yet a 2021-22 ABCA member, please join/renew here so that you are eligible! The application can be found at the bottom of this webpage and you must be logged in to your ABCA account to access the application.
We highly encourage all coaches wanting to attend the convention to register as soon as possible. Early Bird Registration is open through Friday, October 15th. If you are selected as a scholarship recipient and have already registered for the convention, you will receive the $400 stipend plus the choice of a free 2023 ABCA Convention registration or full reimbursement of your 2022 ABCA Convention registration.

Criteria to Receive Scholarship:
- Must be a current ABCA member prior to the scholarship application deadline. Membership registration is open online at ABCA.org/apply or by phone at (336) 821-3140. A mail-in membership registration form can be found at the bottom of ABCA.org/apply.
- Recipients will be selected by the ABCA & Driveline and announced in the ABCA's Press Box e-newsletter on Wednesday, October 20th. The Press Box e-newsletter is sent to current ABCA members every Wednesday!
- ABCA staff will contact recipients directly regarding scholarship stipend using the contact information provided in their ABCA account. To update any of your contact information, please click on the "My Profile " link at the top of the page when you're logged in at ABCA.org.
Additional Details:
- If scholarship recipient has already registered & paid the 2022 Convention registration fee, recipient may elect to be reimbursed for the convention registration fee or may transfer the convention registration to the 2023 ABCA Convention, which will be held in Nashville.
- Recipients MUST check-in and receive their badge on-site at the convention.
- Recipients are highly encouraged to stop by the Driveline Baseball booth (Booth #1111) at the2022 ABCA Convention. All ABCA members can take advantage of the discounts offered by Driveline as part of the ABCA Membership Discount Program. The full Driveline product line is available at www.drivelinebaseball.com.
