No. The convention will also feature live Q&A Sessions & Hot Stove Discussions, a Virtual ABCA Trade Show, Networking Meetups and Raffle!
When will the events take place?
Events will run from Wednesday, Jan. 6 through Sunday, Jan. 10.
Is it a typical ABCA Convention schedule?
No. Events have been extended to five days and spaced out to maximize your experience and account for time zone differences.
When do the clinics begin?
The welcome and clinics start on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 6 p.m. Eastern.
Will I receive clinic outlines?
Yes, outlines for each presentation will be available for download.
Can I follow-up with speakers?
Yes, each presenter will host a live Q&A session at the conclusion of their presentation.
What is the Virtual ABCA Trade Show?
Nearly 150 companies will be showcasing their latest products and innovations. Live representatives from each company will be on-hand to talk and assist you.
What days will the Trade Show be open?
Live company representatives will be available from 11:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6 to Saturday, Jan. 9 but you can stop by Trade Show booths at any time throughout the event.
Can I make purchases in the ABCA Trade Show?
Yes, exhibitors will be running special offers on their products as part of the convention.
Will there be a raffle?
Yes, ABCA Trade Show companies have donated prizes that will be raffled off to registered coaches.
Will there be events during the evenings?
Yes, events will run until 10 p.m. ET.
What are some networking opportunities?
Attendees can video chat, text message, arrange meetups and message board with other members.
Should I use a computer or phone to participate?
It is recommended you participate via computer with a webcam to maximize your experience. Phones and tablets will work but some functionality may be limited.
How late can I wait to register?
The Early Bird Registration Deadline is next Tuesday, December 15. It is recommended you register as early as possible. Registration will remain open throughout the convention, however, there will be a delay in the time you register to when you can access the virtual convention platform.
Why should I sign up early?
Registrants will receive login instructions no later than Monday, Jan. 4. Registering for the convention ahead of time will ensure you have no issues accessing the event and can receive assistance in advance, if needed.
Can I share a login with another coach?
No. Your account will only work on one device at a time. The system will lock out any account that is attempting to sign in on multiple devices for up to 24 hours.
Can my staff and I participate under one registered user?
Yes, however, by only registering one staff member your experience will be limited and you won't be able to use all of the features. Events will run from 10 a.m. ET to 10 p.m. ET with multiple events happening simultaneously. You will not be able to access all of the events happening as a group.
Can I sign up just to receive all of the clinics on-demand?
Yes, all registrants will have access to the on-demand content by Friday, Jan. 22.
Isn’t the ABCA giving all members convention videos free now?
Yes, all ABCA members will receive access to the 2021 ABCA Convention clinics, but not until May 24, 2021. Anyone signed up for the convention will have access to all of the content by Friday, Jan. 22.
