Rookie Coaches Mentorship, Diversity in Baseball & Hot Stove Panels
The Rookie Coaches Mentorship Meeting, Hot Stove Panel Discussions and Diversity in Baseball Workshops are additional learning opportunities at the ABCA Convention.
The 2025 ABCA Convention Rookie Coaches Mentorship presented by the United States Marine Corps will take place at 9 p.m. on Thursday, January 2 and is open to all attendees, but is specifically a great networking opportunity for new ABCA members, first-time Convention attendees & young coaches. A panel of coaches from all levels of the game will discuss their career paths in addition to sharing tips on continuing education, career growth, balancing coaching & family and more!
The eight Hot Stove Discussions feature panels of member coaches discussing position-specific topics! The 2025 ABCA Convention Hot Stoves will be hosted on Friday, January 3 and Saturday, January 4. These are all interactive discussions where attendees can participate directly in the discussion and get their questions answered by the panel!
The Diversity in Baseball Workshops are split into two workshops focused on professional development and youth baseball education and advancement. The 2025 ABCA Convention Diversity in Baseball Workshops, which are being put together by the ABCA Diversity in Baseball Committee, will be held in the morning on Saturday, January 4. The ABCA Diversity in Baseball Committee works to provide resources to promote diversity within the sport and expand opportunities for minority players and coaches.
Panelists for all of the coaching workshops at the ABCA Convention will be announced in late-Fall!
