The American Baseball Coaches Association will once again have a Youth Coaches Session, presented by TeamSnap, at the ABCA Convention in 2019. The ABCA introduced the Youth Coaches Session, which ran concurrent to the ABCA clinics and focused on topics for coaches of youth-level teams up to age 14 years old, at the 2018 Convention in Indianapolis
More than a hundred coaches took part in the inaugural Youth Coaches Session, which featured nine clinics on topics including pitching, hitting, base running, defense, practice planning and program organization. The Youth Coach Session is open to all registered convention attendees. The session will be held in the Gaylord Texan on Friday, Jan. 4 and Saturday, Jan. 5.
Registration for the 2019 ABCA Convention, which is the 75th annual, will open on Sept. 1. The speaker lineup for the Youth Coaches Session will be released this fall.

The ABCA, founded in 1945, is the primary professional organization for baseball coaches at the amateur level. Its more than 9,700 members represent all 50 states and 25 countries. Since its initial meeting of 27 college baseball coaches in June 1945, Association membership has broadened to include eight divisions: NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA, Pacific Association Division, High School and Youth.
