The American Baseball Coaches Association will once again have a Youth Coaches Session, presented by GameChanger, at the ABCA Convention in 2019. The ABCA introduced the Youth Coaches Session, which ran concurrent to the ABCA clinics and focused on topics for coaches of youth-level teams up to age 14 years old, at the 2018 Convention in Indianapolis
Hundreds of coaches took part in the inaugural Youth Coaches Session, which featured nine clinics on topics including pitching, hitting, base running, defense, practice planning and program organization. The Youth Coach Session is open to all registered convention attendees. This year, the session will run two days and will be held in the Gaylord Texan on Friday, Jan. 4 and Saturday, Jan. 5 with seven clinics each day.

The ABCA, founded in 1945, is the primary professional organization for baseball coaches at the amateur level. Its nearly 10,000 members represent all 50 states and 25 countries. Since its initial meeting of 27 college baseball coaches in June 1945, Association membership has broadened to include eight divisions: NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA, Pacific Association Division, High School and Youth.
