Youth Coaches Breakout Session

Presented by TeamSnap

The American Baseball Coaches Association debuted a new Youth Coaches Breakout Session presented by TeamSnap at the 74th annual ABCA Convention in Indianapolis on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018. The one-day session ran concurrent to the ABCA clinics and focused on topics for coaches of youth-level teams up to age 14 years old.

More than a hundred coaches took part in the Youth Coaches Breakout Session, which was held in the Indianapolis Convention Center. The session featured nine clinics and topics included pitching, hitting, base running, defense, practice planning and program organization.

All registered coaches at the convention had access to the Youth Coaches Breakout Session. Additionally, a one-day Youth Coaches Breakout Session registration option was offered to youth coaches that wished to attend only the Youth Coach Breakout Session. The one-day registration also gave those coaches access to the ABCA Trade Show on Saturday, Jan. 6.

The Youth Coaches Breakout Session will return for a second year at the 2019 ABCA Convention in Dallas, Texas. The session will be held in the Gaylord Texan on Saturday, Jan. 5. Registration for the 2019 ABCA Convention, which is the 75th annual, will open on Sept. 1.
