ABCA to host Barnstormers Regional Coaches Clinics in Fall 2020

The American Baseball Coaches Association will host Barnstormers Regional Coaches Clinics once again in Fall 2020. This year's schedule will be released month-to-month as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic with each clinic set up to accommodate appropriate social distancing measures. Barnstormers Clinics will have a limited number of registration spots open to meet the recommended guidelines. We will also be holding select Barnstormers Clinics without coaches in attendance, however, we will film these clinics and provide the presentations to ABCA members as part of their membership in the ABCA Video Library later this fall. The Barnstormers Clinics, which are one-day events for baseball coaches that feature presentations from ABCA member coaches within that region, are presented by Blast Motion.

These clinics will once again be free for ABCA members to attend. Coaches who are not ABCA members that wish to attend may become a member of the association to attend! The events are hosted by ABCA member coaches and typically run 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Clinic presentations vary from video instruction to on-field demonstrations to live drill or practice commentary, and focus on fundamentals, practical position-specific drills, coaching cues, and practice organization tips. Speakers at each event will cover a variety of topics, including hitting, pitching, arm care, catching, practice efficiency and planning, base running and defensive play.
