The 2016 ABCA/Diamond National Coaches of the Year have been announced in all college and high school divisions. The Regional and National Coaches of the Year will be honored at the ABCA/Diamond Hall of Fame/Coach of the Year Banquet on Jan. 6, 2017 in Anaheim, California, as part of the 73rd annual ABCA Convention.

NAIA: Jeremiah Robbins, Lewis-Clark State (ID)
NJCAA Div. I: Ryan Cougill, Yavapai (AZ)
NJCAA Div. II: Chris Kirtland, Jones County (MS)
NJCAA Div. III: Doug Wren, Tyler (TX)
Pacific Association Division: Damon Neidlinger, Santa Rosa (CA)
High School Div. I: Tony Perkins, Francis Howell (MO)
High School Div. II: Mike Thibodeaux, Teurlings Catholic (LA)
High School Div. III: Mike Watt, St. Mary's Colgan (KS)
The ABCA, founded in 1945, is the primary professional organization for baseball coaches at the amateur level. Its over 8,200 members represent all 50 states and 23 countries. Since its initial meeting of 27 college baseball coaches in June 1945, the association’s annual awards program has grown to include nine divisions: NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Division I, II, III, Pacific Association Division and High School.
The ABCA/Diamond Hall of Fame/Coach of the Year Banquet is set for Jan. 6, 2017 at the Marriott Hotel.
