The American Baseball Coaches Association has rolled out a new Member Discount Program including 10-25% discounts to several major hotel chains and rental car companies. Discounts offered to members will total significantly more than the $45 annual dues of being an ABCA member.
"We are hoping that all coaches are able to take advantage of our discount programs – whether for personal or professional use – and this is another valuable benefit of being a member of our great organization," said ABCA Executive Director Craig Keilitz. "With 18 different hotels and four rental car companies, this should provide great options for our coaches and savings could far outweigh the cost of membership."
Hotel discounts include Best Western (Best Western, Best Western Plus, Best Western Premier), G6 Hospitality (Motel 6, Studio 6 Extended Stay), Red Roof Inn and Wyndham Hotels (Wyndham, Wyndham Garden, Wingate, Hawthorn Suites, Microtel, Ramada, Baymont Inn & Suites, Days Inn, Super 8, Howard Johnson, Travelodge and Knights Inn). Rental car company discounts include Advantage Rent A Car, Alamo, Avis and Budget.
The new Member Discount Program was previewed during the 72nd ABCA Convention in Nashville. Over 7,600 coaches have already joined the ABCA for 2015-16.
The ABCA previously announced a 30% discount on ABCA clinic videos and a 5% discount on championship ring orders from Terryberry. The new hotel and rental car discounts range from 10-25%.
