2020 ABCA Convention Sold Out – Live Video Streaming Offered

There are several important announcements about the upcoming ABCA Convention.

CONVENTION SOLD OUT: As members know, the ABCA announced in August that the 2020 ABCA Convention is limited to the first 7,100 registrations. The ABCA sent out notices beginning in August all the way through early November, with posts on the website, 15 emails to members who hadn’t registered yet, notices on social media, the mobile app, etc. The Convention officially sold out on Nov. 7 with an all-time high of 7,100 registrations.
Please Note: Due to facility limitations, including Fire Marshall Regulations, we cannot exceed 7,100 coaches at the Convention.

NO “WALK-UP” REGISTRATION IN NASHVILLE: With the Convention sold out, there will be absolutely no “walk-up” registration on site in Nashville. If any members know coaches who aren’t registered but think they can register on site, please inform them of this.

LIVE STREAMING ABCA CLINICS: For the first time, the ABCA will be live streaming the main-stage clinics from Friday-Sunday (Jan. 3-5). This is exclusive to ABCA members only on the ABCA Video Website. The Live Streaming Package also includes the full set of 2020 ABCA Clinic On-Demand Videos (main stage, youth session, expo theater – more than 50 videos). The price for live streaming plus on-demand videos is $250. The on-demand videos will be available as usual in late January for $210.

WAITLIST FOR CONVENTION: The ABCA is keeping a waitlist for Convention Registration that current members may sign up for through Tuesday, November 26. Coaches may register for the waitlist on abcaconvention.org . Members on the waitlist will be allowed to register for the Convention if other registered members cancel their registrations.
Please Note: There are more than 200 coaches on the waitlist as of Nov. 13 and there are typically less than 100 cancellations.

CONVENTION REGISTRATION CANCELLATIONS: ABCA members who are registered for the Convention in Nashville, but who are unable to attend, may cancel their registration by calling the ABCA Office at (336) 821-3140. This will open a spot for another member from the waitlist to attend.

Members who want to cancel their ABCA Convention Registrations will have two options:

  1. If cancelling by Monday, Dec. 2, a member may opt for a 50% refund of the registration fee, or do option 2.
  2. If cancelling by Tuesday, Dec. 31, a member may apply their full registration fee as a credit toward Live Video Streaming and On-Demand Videos.

Congratulations on the incredible growth of the American Baseball Coaches Association! We are excited to host the largest ABCA Convention ever, offer live video streaming for the first time, as well as our new “My ABCA” mobile app to go along with all of the other great membership benefits!
