The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) is proud to announce its new partnership with Underhill International, a leading manufacturer of hoses, nozzles, and specialty watering products for sports fields and groundskeepers. Underhill has a strong reputation in the industry for innovative products that serve fields from local Little Leagues to professional baseball stadiums.
“We are excited to begin our partnership with Underhill International,” said ABCA Executive Director Craig Keilitz. “We’re proud to partner with a company who understands the amount of time coaches spend keeping their playing surfaces safe and consistent and provides tools to make field maintenance easier and more efficient.”
As part of the partnership, Underhill and the ABCA will launch Friday Field Tips every other Friday starting in April on all social media channels. Each post will feature a tip from an industry professional on how to make your field look and play like the pros.
Ken Newcomb, Sales & Operations Manager for Underhill International, expressed his excitement about the partnership with the ABCA. “As I watched my son in high school baseball, I saw how much energy, time, and effort the coaches put into their fields. I felt it would be a great opportunity to bring the coaches access to the same professional products and experience that professional groundskeepers have. We were excited to attend the ABCA Convention in January and had a great time meeting coaches and discussing our shared passion for the game. Looking ahead to 2024, we are already thinking of ways to deepen our involvement in conjunction with our distributor partners. Stay tuned for more updates!”
