Jeff Willis begins his 22nd season as LSU Eunice's head baseball coach in 2024. He boasts a remarkable 995-218 (.820) record since 2003, earning seven NJCAA Div. II National Championships. Recognized as "Team of the Decade" for 2010-19 by the JUCO Baseball Blog, the Bengals made 10 NJCAA Div. II World Series appearances under Willis, securing 11 regional championships and 10 district titles. Willis, a seven-time ABCA National Coach of the Year, received the Skip Bertman National Coach of the Year Award in 2018 and joined the NJCAA Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2023. His guidance produced 25 All-Americans and three National Defensive Players of the Year, with over 200 players advancing to four-year institutions and 57 players and/or signees drafted by MLB. Willis, doubling as LSUE's Athletic Director, contributes to NJCAA committees and chairs the Junior College Division on the ABCA Board of Directors.
