Stay with Us: Official Convention Hotel Properties

The 2027 ABCA Convention events will be hosted at the McCormick Place Convention Center. All official ABCA Convention events will take place at the convention center.

The ABCA has secured discounted room blocks at a variety of hotel properties near the convention center, offering convenient access and preferred rates for Convention attendees. Booking links and complete hotel information will be available below beginning September 1, 2026. 2025-26 ABCA Members will receive early access to hotel booking through Priority Convention Registration, opening in August 2026. Additional details will be shared in Summer 2026!

Arriving at the Convention: Transportation Guide

Airport

Chicago is one of the most accessible cities in the country for air travel, served by two major airports: O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Midway International Airport (MDW). Together, they offer nonstop flights to hundreds of domestic and international destinations, making travel to the 2027 ABCA Convention easy from nearly anywhere.

Once in Chicago, O’Hare International Airport is located approximately 18 miles from the McCormick Place Convention Center and Midway International Airport is even closer, situated about 10 miles from McCormick Place.

Ground Transportation

Chicago is easily accessible by car, with major interstates including I-90, I-94, and I-55 connecting the city to destinations throughout the Midwest and beyond. For attendees driving to the 2027 ABCA Convention, McCormick Place is well-situated with nearby parking and clear access from major highways.

Once in Chicago, a variety of ground transportation options are available. Attendees can take advantage of rideshare services, taxis, rental cars, and Chicago’s extensive public transit system. Many Convention hotels offer convenient access to McCormick Place, making it easy to travel between hotels, the convention center, and downtown attractions throughout the week.

Taxis

Taxis are readily available at both O’Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport, as well as throughout downtown Chicago and near the McCormick Place Convention Center.

Rideshare Services

Multiple rideshare services, including Uber and Lyft, operate throughout the Chicago area, providing convenient transportation to and from airports, hotels, and McCormick Place.

Public Transportation (CTA “L”)

Chicago’s public transit system offers an efficient and affordable way to get around the city. The CTA “L” train connects both airports to downtown Chicago, with additional bus and rail options available to reach the McCormick Place area.
